Coaches... the 2005-2006 Michigan AAU list of "Friendship" tournaments is now available. Check the "Tournaments" page. I would suggest you take a look at it soon thereafter and reserve your tournament spots early. The events at CMU and other events up North usually fill up very quickly.
Players and parents... AAU is for "serious", more skilled players who want to progress in their basketball skills. Other players who just want to have fun (nothing wrong with that!), should look to the Saturday Charlevoix Rec League. Playing time is up to the coach and his/her philosophy. Each team is responsible for their own costs, such as the costs incurred for uniforms, tournament fees, travel, lodging, etc. These costs should be divided equally amongst the players and coaches. If you have parents, friends, relatives, or businesses who would like to make a contribution, this can be placed in your team's account (contact Lisa).
Coaches... check "Coaching Info" in the menu on the left for helpful articles. I also have articles on the Charlevoix Rayders offenses and defenses, press offenses and press defenses, plays, etc that are not published on the Internet. If you are interested, contact me.
Players... check "Player Skills and Tips" in the menu on the left.
New! Video Clips... Ball-Handling, Dribbling 1 and 2 balls, Dribble Moves, Guard Moves, Post Moves, Fundamentals... you have to see these! Click here.
